I thrive in the performing arts and photography because I love people to perform and service people in my creative. The theatre is a space where I can tell stories and make people feel things while also pushing myself to feel and understand a completely different perspective of life. That's what an actor is. A photographer captures those lives in a single moment that can be preserved in the physical forever. These are my passions, these are my favorite types of art.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in people and nature. I grew up surrounded by a nature that a lot of people don't get to see everyday, as well as people who also live with an appreciation for it the same way I do, so I take that with me when I take photos. I see a monarch butterfly in the beginning of spring in my back yard, and I get as happy as I did when I was younger. I see someone confident in their craft, and I try to bring that passion with them when I pause those moments in my photos.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would be able to pay for one year at a private college I've been accepted to so I can pursue a theatre major and physics minor. $25,000 opens up a door that is financially shut for me right now, so I'm attending community college for 2 years until I have to make the decision to continue to Lewis and Clark. $25,000 helps me take a strong step towards my passionate future of entertaining people who want to be entertained and loving every moment of what I will do.
