I look at artistry a bit differently. Everything I see is considered art to me. From the branding on your favorite food and the shelf it sits on, the stroller being pushed by the excited mother, to the Mona Lisa and the Louvre itself. It was all created by human hands and minds. I've created tables, chairs, blueprints, college course curriculums, thermal electric generators, acrylic paintings and even sculptures. It's all my favorite. I just want to create something beautiful and useful.
Where do you find inspiration?The art that I started to create came from a place of solitude and pure emotion. During the Covid lockdown I had a breakdown and the only person that could get me through was my mother. She told me to get back to my creative roots and paint how I felt. So I went to Goodwill found some frames, went to work and never looked back.
What would you do with $25,000?Well, I thought the notion of a "Starving Artist" was a bit cliche. Then I decided to throw my hat in the ring. Now, I completely understand the struggle. That being said, I would get myself back on my feet, pay off debts and invest in myself and my future as an artist.
