Creativity the most important thing to me. My characters, my stories, my artworks are like my children. I live to create & I create to live.

I work traditionally, so it's all done by hand. Watercolours, inks, acrylics, some coloured pencils. Mixed media. My favourite pieces are those made from my own fiction stories (I write too) and of my own characters. Chadhiyana especially--my dark fantasy, South Asian-inspired comic heroine. My works are all--or mostly--dark fantasy and horror stuff. Plus, I have a small obsession with making a new Orlok piece (from the original Nosferatu) every year.
Where do you find inspiration? All over the place. Life, both my experience and that of those I come into contact with. Some current events. Some historical events. And I draw inspiration a lot from books, films, and video games. Music, occassionally, too. I love flowery prose, gritty and thought-provoking cinema, and games that challenge me. Those things especially inspire my work. And I have my share of favourite creators and works, too.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, I would reinvest it in my art business. $25,000 would be a great sum toward getting some of my art and comic projects funded and moving. In fact, $25,000 would be a great fund for me to focus on a single large project for between a few months to almost a year without needing to take on extra work or appearances. And I know just the project I would focus on.
