I enjoy creating pieces with vibrant colors and stark contrasts. Images with a psychological dimension, an emotional chord, and psychedelic overtones. Drawing is my go to in regards to method.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from a variety of things. Natural beauty, unacknowledged cultural shadows, and the wisdom and mastery of artistic creations that have survived the hands of time since antiquity, as of late.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it into a low maintenance sustainable housing situation that has the space to accommodate a progression to larger art projects, give my son a comfortable and safe environment, and with enough distance from neighbors to play music loud enough to shake the door knocker. I’ve lived in a number of different styles and I’ve had many wild adventures. But, now, I’m more sincerely interested in being a father and pursuing my artistic gifts more than anything else I could imagine.
