My favorite art to create is watercolor botanicals, abstracts. Flowers are among nature’s most beautiful creations, each one unique, imperfectly perfect, and expressive, much like humans. I’m deeply inspired by their delicate forms, and endless variety. Through watercolor and vibrant colors I try to capture emotion, energy, and the beauty of being alive. I love creating all types of art, from cooking to photograph to painting, there’s art in everything when you are really present in the moment.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my greatest inspiration in nature. Observing it fills me with awe, the endless details, colors, textures, and quiet wisdom in every living thing. Nature reminds me of the beauty, balance, and mystery of creation. From flowers to landscapes, animal, insects, seeing the world, the little details that make everything possible, I love life, nature and I’m inspired by the love for it
What would you do with $25,000?If I win, I would love to invest in growing my online store to make my art more accessible and reach more people. I’d also create new work that explores shared human experiences, art that brings comfort, connection, and meaning. My goal is to build a sustainable practice while making art that people can see themselves in and feel a part of, I want to help people to know that we’re all artists, we can all create something beautiful so I would teach more workshops to share and connect with people
