Creating art feels intrinsic to who I am. My work reflects me and my perspective, and it allows me to feel present and purposeful.

My main medium is digital illustration, and I love creating caricatures. People and faces have always been my favorite subject matter, and I see caricature as an opportunity to capture not only someone’s visual likeness, but their personality and energy as well. I want my drawings to feel like the subject, not just look like them.
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of inspiration in pop culture, film, television, and music. I love drawing recognizable figures because I enjoy that immediate connection when someone instantly knows who the subject is. I’m inspired by expressive artists like Keith Haring and aim to create work that feels energetic, recognizable, and full of personality.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 would provide the security to focus more fully on building a sustainable career as an artist. I’d invest in materials, prints, and opportunities that help expand my work, while easing financial pressure from everyday living expenses. It would also allow me to better support the people I love. More than anything, it would give me peace of mind and the freedom to create with greater focus and intention.
