Everything has an eternal nature, so when we try to capture a thought, emotion or a person, we're creating a temporary portal to that nature

Where do you find inspiration?Cemeteries, I sing the collects of the gnostic mass and perform mantrayoga with the dead, I feel like they've helped me more than almost anyone alive. I find the beauty in life in the reminders of mortality. Everything in this world is a sand mandala that will one day transform into something more abstract, I try to perch on the ledge of impermanence and shift with the seasons as best as I can, but there is something there that always remains, there is always some ground to work from.
What would you do with $25,000?I would make more artwork, make matted and framed prints of each piece, make more copies of the less taboo looking version of my album to distribute free copies of it on CD and LP to anyone purchasing a painting or print, take them to my friends gallery in Madison and one in Minneapolis and sell and distribute them there, take about half of the proceeds from that and keep doing it again until eventually I can build a more stable foundation for my life somewhere with a studio.
