I love every aspect of creating art. I am fortunate that I decided to enlist at 19 years old as a Combat Photographer. I never looked back.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is rather hard to decide. I love the emotive and unique qualities of portrait photography, but I also love the art of live music photography. One is very controlled, and the other is capturing moments in the midst of chaos.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in music and the moods certain songs create in my mind. As well as the unique stories behind each person I work with. For the artists that inspire me. Anton Corbijn, Rankin, Comte, Mert Alas, and Ritts. Really, the world is filled with so many amazing stories and artists, too many to list.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to help fund the gallery exhibit and book for an ongoing music portrait series I have been working on for the past year, which focuses on everyone in the local Nashville, TN, music industry. Everyone, from the musicians themselves to the sound engineers and stagehands.
