My art is a visual journal of deep emotion, inviting you to pause, reflect, and feel uplifted through each expressive painting.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m most alive when I’m painting in oils, shaping each stroke with a palette knife into bold, sculptural texture. Abstraction is central to my work, driving the energy within realistic forms to create something transformative. The larger the canvas, the deeper I can disappear into it. I want my work to pull you in—into a forest you can wander or a flame you can almost feel—so, for a moment, you experience wonder, stillness, and something quietly magical.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the forest and the powerful rhythms of nature. Trees and water have long been my refuge—places of restoration and quiet clarity. I feel a deeper presence in old growth forests, the vast ocean, and the glow of the stars, where everything carries purpose and a source of healing. Through my paintings, I strive to capture that sense of peace, connection, and renewal.
What would you do with $25,000?If chosen, I would donate the funds to the Native (Ojibwe) nonprofit, Indian Paintbrush Farm Sanctuary. Nearly 100 rescued animals live here in safety and freedom, offering a deeply therapeutic space where people and animals heal together. Your vote would help sustain their care and bring to life small retreat spaces where others can reconnect, restore, and feel whole.
