I create art to make the invisible visible—so feeling, struggle, and hope can be seen and shared.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m drawn to creating dimensional, mixed-media work that invites both visual and emotional exploration. I love building with found objects and varied materials, layering texture, meaning, and narrative. The physicality of assembling pieces allows me to experiment freely while shaping work that carries a message and asks the viewer to engage more deeply.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by political unrest, social injustice, and the resilience of people living through it. The world doesn’t feel settled, and neither should the work. I create from that tension—using art to question, challenge, and reflect our reality, asking viewers to pause, rethink, and find empathy or solidarity.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand my studio space to allow for larger, more ambitious work and invest in tools, materials, and lighting to push my practice further. I’d also dedicate resources to exhibiting the work—covering installation, transport, and outreach—to ensure the message reaches a broader audience and sparks meaningful conversation.
