I create art because it feels necessary. I love how art makes me feel so I want people to feel something when they see my creations.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Abstract. There's something in seeing everything and sometimes nothing simultaneously. I like the idea that anything can be art to someone. It's an honor to be able to see the beauty in the mundane and make something out of it.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. Film and tv, walking down the street, talking to friends and family. It's all around me at any given moment. Music also plays a very big part in my creative process.
What would you do with $25,000?Get my car fixed and secure my own place to live. I want to sell my art at festivals while also traveling and seeing more of the world around me. I haven't traveled much so it would be a great opportunity to meet more artists and get inspired. I'd like to donate art supplies to schools, get the youth more involved in creation. Kids have some of the best ideas but don't always have the resources so it would be nice to contribute to them in some way.
