Painting has had my heart since I was nine years old. The art I love to create most is expressive and surreal. Rather than copying reality, each brushstroke is meant to evoke emotion. With a blank canvas I can create a world far more magical and deeply personal through vibrant colors and soft symbolism. To me, a blank canvas could be almost anything. I love to paint on shoes, clothes, purses, and the list continues.
Where do you find inspiration?My personal life inspires me, which is why my cats show up in my art as a Tiger and a Panther. Symbolism is all over my paintings, disguised as animals and objects. Music has an influence on my art too, which is why my favorite artists sometimes become the main characters of my paintings. I’m inspired by the feeling of my favorite melody. The feeling of the sun giving me a warm hug. The feeling that anything is possible!
What would you do with $25,000?The dream is to have my own little studio/gallery/shop where I would sell original paintings, prints, stickers, painted shoes, clothing, and take custom orders. I know I'd need more than 25K to accomplish that, but 25K would certainly help me get there. It’d allow me to take a beat, and solely focus on creating the life I dream of.
