I love how art undoes me, uncovers truth and lands like revelations into the hearts of others.

Screenplays and film. Good humoured craft that deals directly with matters of consciousness: higher intelligence, metaphysics, the human mind, body, soul. Solemn, fun. Witty, hopeful work that never takes itself too seriously to be genuinely felt. A career in entertainment demands uncomfortable stillness and roaring, relentless action. Finding peace within these extremities is the whole, ridiculous point, and more often than not, it's the art itself.
Where do you find inspiration? The simplest, most accessible instruments— life, source, nature, breath, movement, the senses. The body moving through the world, with all its limitations and constraints, is often the greatest teacher. The kitchen, the billboards, the jacarandas, the scar on the leg. Art helps me to feel, carve, mold, clarify that relationship, what tethers me to the Earth, and connects me with every element of it.
What would you do with $25,000?Time for writing. I believe deeply in the power of "A Room of One's Own," the space to work, to sit with solitude as sanctuary. There's a profound gift in that, the discovery that going deeply inward is precisely what makes it possible to reach others. The value of that gift, I've come to understand, only grows with time.
