Creating art has always been a source of healing for me. When I paint, take photos, or draw, my body and mind are in a peaceful stillness.

I love painting! I absolutely love to paint! There is something purely cathartic about making abstract art, which I do with acrylic paints. In this space, I get to create what is in my mind's eye or what I'm feeling somatically. Equally, I feel zen whenever I paint landscapes — which I do in oils. Mountains and bodies of water are typically the primary focus of my paintings because of my spiritual connection to these natural elements.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration sometimes in my dreams, music, and definitely in nature! Sometimes, being outside on a dreary day will spark inspiration, or hours after it rains, staring at the sky somehow instills creativity and ignites my imagination to create something. Sometimes I don't always know what to make...I just know the feeling, and that feeling has to go onto canvas. Other times, I gather motivation from photos of nature that I take.
What would you do with $25,000?The $25K would go directly into Riddim of Art, my LLC— covering art supplies for my product lines and launching a wellness-integrated workshop series. My goal is to facilitate a meaningful alternative to the typical 'paint and sip' — fostering a space where art becomes a healing and nurturing experience, with some light humour to help uplift others. A portion would also secure the financial foundation that allows me to keep creating and serving without limits.
