art is an escape from reality for me, it has always grounded me and served as a way for me to express myself when words are not enough.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
i love to create traditional art specifically paintings they are timeless, they tell a story that lasts a lifetime. painting in itself is a beautiful way to explore creativity and capture a moment to be frozen in time it often acts as an historical memorial paintings hold eternal memories ones we may otherwise forget. i find it to be relaxing and comforting knowing one piece can have such a big impact even if we dont initially see it.
Where do you find inspiration?i find inspiration in nature, family, friends, pains, happiness all the highs and lows of life. the feelings we get when we aren’t able to express ourselves in words. I use art to speak to others when I am unable, to empower and inspire those around me. In todays world i try to find positivity in every corner i look for ways to turn a negative situation into a bright experience and i believe that painting can do that in one way or another.
What would you do with $25,000?I plan to give back to my family, and help them as much as i can as they have helped me throughout the toughest moments of my life. I also want to fund my dream of owning a sustainable business specifically developing sustainable furniture that is affordable focusing on providing quality products that everyone can obtain while also ensuring our environment is protected is very important to me! As an interior design student i will do my best to make this dream possible.
