Baroque has always been the greatest inspiration for me. I want to make art that’s reminiscent of that of the old masters. My own yet with their foundation. The human figure, human anatomy, and all the things that could be done with it withthe proper lighting and drapery I don’t believe that there’s any art more powerful or with more potential than that. I’m highly influenced by Momento Mori. I’m not interested in making art that’s happy. I want to create art that forces people to stop and think
Where do you find inspiration? The baroque and art of the old masters from the Renaissance are my greatest inspirations. I also draw a lot of inspiration from my Catholic faith and also Greek orthodox Christianity.
What would you do with $25,000?find a way to further share my art with a broader audience and a more intimate, personal and relevant way
