It’s an escape from the madness, the hustle and bustle. Sometimes you need a break and art provides that. The art world is one I can control
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I really love to paint and draw. I always have since I was little. I’ve recently started doing block printing and I’ve enjoyed that so far.
Where do you find inspiration?Everything and anything really. My family and my girlfriend really inspire me and support me in my creative journey which I tend to grab onto more. Less about what inspires me and more about who inspires me. I have a deep fascination at the fact that deep down everyone is the same but also so different at the same time and I really love that
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly I’m not sure. I would like to do something in my local community that would promote a creative space and maybe help people that enjoy art as much as I do but don’t necessarily have to means to get the supplies they need or maybe introduce them into something new. A lot of people I know like to say they’re not creative but I think they’re just afraid of what people will say about what they create and I want to give them a place where they don’t need to worry about that.
