My favorite art to create is art that comes directly from my heart. When I am moved to take my own spiritual and personal experiences and transform them into visual representations of my journey, it is my hope to move the viewer to think deeply about their own life’s purpose and hopefully inspire them to seek within themselves to find that same spark and find purpose and meaning in their own life and strive to achieve all they dream of.

I find inspiration in every day life. Whether it be watching a blue jay from my window interacting with the natural environment or sitting on a bus bench in downtown Los Angeles watching the people of all walks of life going about their day to day activities, I try to see the beauty in all things. I believe that there is great power in the simplicity of life’s grand design and we all are players in a grand theatre which I enjoy capturing in artistic forms of creativity.

I would use the money to start a program to help at risk youth and those less fortunate than myself to find value in their life through the arts and creative expression. Art has been a tool for me to transmute the negative experiences of life and turn them into something of value and substance and helped me overcome some of the biggest hurdles I’ve ever faced, and to be able to give back to those facing similar challenges would be nothing short of a dream come true.
