Receive Text UpdatesI grew up woodworking and used to make furniture pieces where I taught myself tiling, working with copper, even stained glass. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve really started to find a passion in charcoal pieces and teaching myself different techniques and really exploring my creativity in that aspect.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from my mental illness/nuerodivergency, all the chaos that is my life and my brain. My art is something I refuse to ever force myself to do, nor do anything that would take away from the therapeutic aspect of it to me. I only just started sharing my art with others because I held it close to me for so long. So in a way I’m still learning just now much inspires me, and I still get surprised by what I produce at times.
What would you do with $25,000?If I managed to win grand prize, I would use that money to get myself a vehicle and put the rest away towards my future. Truthfully the one and only selfish thing I would do, is to take myself and my best friend out to a nice dinner to thank him for pushing me to be comfortable even showing another human my art to begin with
