Art has always been there for me and I enjoy seeing people's reactions to it. It gives me a sense of purpose in the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like many genres - right now I'm making music and art that take place in a retro-futuristic hyper-realistic space battle.
Where do you find inspiration? There's a lot of parallels between space discovery and self discovery. Just as we can explore the depths of space, we can also explore the depths of our psyche. So I find just as much inspiration in space exploration as I do from our own psychology.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to expand my world and characters. Currently I have myself (James Atlas) battling 2 creatures, Fear and Anger. I started with the most basic inner demons in hope that I could branch off from them later. I am working in collaboration with other artists that I would need to pay to further develop the story. I want to provide young people with an engaging instruction manual, if you will, for their emotions.
