I pioneered my own kind of high dynamic imaging over the past 30 years. Currently doing infrared, panorama and landscapes, digital and film.

I love to produce abstract photography. I aim to produce images that no one else is making. I almost always use vintage lens that I’ve adapted to full frame and medium format cameras. I shoot more digital than film.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from abstract artists like Picasso or Salvador Dalhi, except I’m using photography not paint. Exploring “out there” photography has no other true pioneer. I feel I’m blazing a new trail and have been for decades. It comes out of being bored with normal photography. It’s opened up a world without boundaries or restrictions.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it in travel and maybe a lens or two. I already have hundreds of cameras but I love equipment. Like to put together an American Photo Safari and explore our national parks with my process.
