I make art to explore hidden structures and correspondences, translating intuition into form so the unseen can be experienced.

I create conceptual, symbolic work, often sculptural or constructed as contained environments. My pieces tend to function like artifacts—objects that hold meaning rather than explain it outright. I use layered systems, controlled viewpoints, and embedded symbolism to guide how a viewer encounters the work. The experience of looking becomes part of the structure, with perception itself treated as material.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw from esoteric systems like tarot and Kabbalah, not as fixed doctrine but as frameworks for exploring relationships between symbols, ideas, and perception. I’m also influenced by artists who embrace ambiguity and build internal logic within their work. Beyond that, I’m inspired by subtle patterns in everyday life—repetitions, anomalies, and correspondences that suggest deeper connections beneath the surface.
What would you do with $25,000?That money would go a long way toward expanding our studio. I share a studio with my wife. She does pottery and ceramics and the last couple of years we have started getting a little cramped. It would be a catalyst if I was able to have a space where finished work could be out of the way of ongoing work. Sculptures take up a lot of space, unlike paintings. When space gets tight, the consequence is that the new work slows down. If I had the space, I would also buy some welding equipment.
