I've been an artist, for as long as I can remember. Growing up in southern Mississippi, puts a whole other perspective on how art is formed.

Abstract; abstract art has always been a muse. My parents had a lithograph by Salvador Dali; The Persistence of memory", above my bed, and played Pink Floyd whilst I slept. Needless to say my mind was a wonderlust of effervescent shapes, hues, and contrast. Abstract has a way of showing our own faults, without actually pinpointing the issues. It's a manifestation of thoughts and traumas, brought together in color, line, and segmented ques of traumatic events of ones' life experiences.
Where do you find inspiration?I find most of my inspiration is brought on by what is happening around me. For instance; a lot of recent work has been centered on the genocide in Palestine. One particular is of a swing set, with no children in them, looking out upon a desolate landscape; rubble and smoke billowing, as a Palestinian flag struggles to cling to a chain, on one of the swings, with shadows of the children that once played on those swings, cast onto the ground, as the sun sets on Palestine.
What would you do with $25,000?Make a few small investments for my family and future use, around 8k. And donate the rest to charities of my choosing;
