I am inspired by the abstract. I love the fact that everyone has a unique point of view on how they look at a piece, the emotion it can evoke, whether it is the composition, or the color. I also love working with a realistic subject and adding my own twist to it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, all of it, the ocean, sky, mountains, but I also find inspiration in nostalgia. Growing up in the 70's and 80's also serves me as a point of inspiration, when things seemed so new and big, now they seem comforting and calm.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to win the grand prize I would use it to set up a space and invest in my community, to teach art to a younger generation so that they can see how art can free your mind and your soul, the way it can heal you, and help you to move forward. Now that AI is such a thing, it is so easy to ask a system to create something for you, but that never can replace the satisfaction of doing something on your own.
