I create to give form to feeling - to share quiet truths, transformation, and connection through what is seen and what is felt.

I am drawn to narrative painting - works that blend realism with whimsy and symbolism. I love creating portraits, still life, and figurative pieces that suggest transformation and tell a quiet story. Whether through paint or sculpture, I aim to evoke emotion rather than simply replicate what is seen.
Where do you find inspiration? In everyday moments. Light on water, a gesture, a memory. I’m inspired by human connection, transformation, and the subtle poetry of ordinary life. Art history, nature, and storytelling also guide me, as well as a desire to explore what lies beneath the surface of things.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in creating a new body of work centered on transformation, exploring both painting and sculpture. It would allow me time, materials, and space to deepen the narrative, and to share the work more widely through exhibitions and community engagement.
