It heals something in me every time I sit down to create art. Anytime I feel myself slipping, art brings me back to where I need to be.

From day one I’ve done a bit of everything. From music, to painting, making clothing, jewelry, to poetry, to drawing and writing comics, tattooing, to sculpting and throwing pottery I just love it all. There is no favorite type of art for me, I crave it all!
Where do you find inspiration? This was a realization that hit me after my husband took his life in 2020. My spark had been wholly and utterly destroyed at the time, but after months of struggling to exist I eventually found myself drawing again. When I finally did there was this miraculous disconnect from the overwhelming pain and loss that had been plaguing my mind. My inspiration is the sheer joy I find in every moment spent creating, and every wound healed by it.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use it to fund the comic I’ve been working on for the past 8 years called “My Twin Flame”. It’s a massive passion project revolving around a fantasy universe where deities must fuse with a human soul to draw power from human prayers. The story follows the protagonist Valerie as she fights for the throne, but her efforts are halted when she unexpectedly finds herself falling for the human soul she’s bonded with. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I hope I can be your artist. :)
