Art is all I've ever known I started my art path in grade 3, oil painting while other kids played soccer. Its my nature, my true identity.

Drawing, acrylic painting and poetry. They all seem to satisfy my identity... they each tell the story of who I am in different ways drawing brings me peace. I enjoy drawing textures of skin, eyes, fur, flowers, it's quite amazing. Painting on the other hand just let's me go wild with color kind of a Van Gogh expressionistic impressionistic type of Style. And finally, Poetry is the energy, the words that propell me to each of those stages. All art starts in the mind.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from my life experience and the emotions and the trauma that I have endured throughout my life. Mostly it comes from the deep love I have for my children. It comes from the peace I feel now and the ability to just let go and create in the Stillness of my life, I am 63 years old I live alone with my cat and I try to be in a humble state of mind when I create so I suppose the whole experience is just in my state of mind and the energy that surrounds me everyday.
What would you do with $25,000?I think I would just continue doing what I'm doing in my home, but I would feel a little bit more financially secure to be able to do that; because I'm older and on a fixed income $25,000 would make me feel a little more secure allowing me to stay here happily creating with peace in my heart.. I would definitely buy more paint!! I would buy some really great pencils too. My friends keep asking me to teach art classes. I would also go visit my cousin in England and go to the Tate Gallery.
