I paint everyday moments so the quiet, nostalgic scenes we overlook can be felt, remembered, and never fully lost.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m most drawn to nostalgic still life—painting everyday objects in a way that feels timeless and emotionally familiar. I love taking something simple and giving it presence through light, color, and mood.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in everyday moments that most people might overlook—breakfast on the counter, a quiet cup of coffee, something familiar sitting in the same place it always has. I’m drawn to the feeling of nostalgia, and I try to capture that sense of comfort and memory through light, color, and ordinary objects.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to give my work the space it deserves and take steps to being a full-time artist. It would allow me to focus on capturing the quiet, familiar moments that often go unnoticed—creating work with more time, intention, and care.
