I create because it gave me something no one could take from me. It turned everything I’ve been through into something powerful.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create emotionally driven portraiture that blends fine art, editorial, and real human connection. My work is rooted in storytelling, capturing people in a way that feels both powerful and timeless. Whether it’s motherhood, identity, or transformation, I don’t just document moments, I shape them into something that carries meaning beyond the image itself.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in people, their stories, their transitions, and the quiet moments in between. I’m drawn to emotion, to the unspoken, and to environments that can amplify that feeling. Sometimes it’s light, sometimes it’s texture, sometimes it’s a location, but ultimately, it’s about creating something that feels real, even when it’s visually elevated.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it back into my work, expanding my creative sets, elevating my studio experience, and producing large-scale conceptual pieces that push my artistry further. I’d also use it to create work that tells deeper stories, projects that go beyond client sessions and exist purely as art.
