I love creating and it is something I must do. Creating art is my focus in life - creating & brightening up this world, making people smile.

Paintings - all types in different mediums. Lots of different subjects so that every day in the studio is interesting, never boring and as much color as I like! My favourite past projects were painting a 92 foot mural at Calgary Civic Centre, a life size bovine sculpture - Udderly Art Project, murals for Bethany Care Cochrane, ARBIS, Calgary Zoo, Designer Showcase, homes & special events. A 60 foot canvas aisle runner for the Banff Springs Hotel Wedding was a neat project as well.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from everywhere around me! From the time I start my studio day, I am inspired and ready to paint. Much of my work is created from various memories and from my own photos of everyday scenes & landscapes. So many ideas to paint …. I am always brainstorming for the next painting idea. “Love my job!”
What would you do with $25,000?Apply to an Art School in Italy for a semester as a Mature Student or spend one month in Scotland to plein air paint…. I know the $25,000 would be well used! That would be amazing for me at my age and at this stage of my artistic life. Nice way to ease into my senior years …. What a dream it would be. My hubby and I would add enjoy traveling a bit more.
