Art (in my case pottery, sculpture, watercolors) is the most honest way to communicate what's in my head and heart. It is my truest self.

Watercolor paintings. I do still life, nature, landscape, portraiture, abstract, sometimes mixed media with them - tremendous freedom!
Where do you find inspiration?Absolutely everywhere: places I've lived as military spouse and travels where I've allowed myself to 'gypsy'. I love the sea, Magnolia blossoms and clusters of Queen Anne's Lace, desert floor with mountains just beyond. Abandoned boats. My eye links with feelings that emanate from my very core and I paint because I simply must.
What would you do with $25,000?Restock my W/C pigments, treat myself to 1-2 new Gold Sceptor brushes, entire pkg of WN Coldpress 140, buy round trip to/from San Migel de Allende Mexico or Provence France for 2 week immersion painting escape. Because there have been hardships in my life I am frugal; there'd be money left over so I'd target a special needs program and make considerable donation towards their art supplies/programming.
