I create art to capture the beauty and magic of Canada. Through vibrant colors and abstract landscapes I aim to evoke a sense of pride.

Abstract landscapes let me abandon perfection and tap into the the emotions that are evoked through color, texture and form. It allows the experience to be subjective for the viewer and as an artist, I strive to capture the essense and atmosphere of a place rather than a literal interpretation.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere! The intricate patterns of nature, the abstract play of light on the water, the virant hues of a cityscape, the rustle of leaves. I find inspiration in the mundane and ordinary aspects of life on this glorious planet.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would embark on a journey across Canada to find its hidden gems - unassuming, sometimes overlooked, and maybe even " boring" places. I'd spend a month immersing myself into the rhythm of a small town or rural lanscape, painting the beauty that goes unnoticed. Like the endless yellow fields in Saskatchewan or the monochromatic colors of the Northern conifers. Id capture the essence of these places, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
