Creating art is an excellent avenue for me to be able to express my inner self, the sides of me that not everyone can always see.

My main medium is abstract drawing & illustration with mostly markers and ink, but as a handful of my art images show, I also dabble with painting, making collages with Washi tape, and drawing digitally. What these all have in common is that they still remain within the abstract realm, because "the abstract" is what I'm more naturally drawn to creating when it comes to expressing a more accurate version of my inner self.
Where do you find inspiration?In a general sense, I can find inspiration in a multitude of things that I notice and observe in daily life, but I especially find that my strongest inspiration lies within the musical realm while I am creating art. I love listening to music in an engaged manner while I am drawing, to absorb the energy I feel from the music and to then channel that expression into my drawings. Although I appreciate and admire many different types of music, I am drawn to many bands and musicians from the 1970's.
What would you do with $25,000?I would first set aside some of the money for family and a few close friends. I would also definitely want a portion of it to be donated towards a good cause. As for myself, the money would serve the practical purpose of allowing me to launch my own art-inspired business and to truly be able to make a living out of being an artist, and that has been my ultimate dream in life since I was 25 years old! (I am now 40 years old & ready for a big change!).
