It gives me purpose. It gives life meaning. I truthfully don’t want to do anything else.

I’m most drawn to creating figurative paintings that blend elements of fantasy and nature. I often focus on feminine subjects surrounded by flora and fauna, with a strong influence from classical European and Japanese art. I love creating an atmosphere that feels a bit melancholic, romantic, and immersive, where I feel like I’m stepping into a quiet, dreamlike world.
Where do you find inspiration?I find most of my inspiration in nature and history, whether it’s animals, overgrown gardens, statues, or gothic cathedrals. I’m especially drawn to spaces that feel lived-in and layered with time. I’m also deeply influenced by classical European painters like Gustav Klimt and Ferdinand Keller, as well as Japanese artists like Yoshitaka Amano.
What would you do with $25,000?My partner and I are both artists, and as we begin planning for a family, this support would give us the stability to take that next step with more confidence. The $25,000 would go toward upgrading essential studio equipment, covering living expenses, and allowing us the time and space to continue doing what we love. It would make a meaningful difference in helping us grow both as artists and as a family.
