My favorite art to create is bold, expressive abstract work, whether through fluid art pours or my signature dry brush technique. I love the freedom of abstraction, where there are no rules and emotion leads the process. The more abstract, the better. For me, it’s about movement, texture, color, and creating something that allows each viewer to see and feel something different.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in watching sunsets and in the bold, bright, vivid colors found throughout nature. The way the sky changes, the richness of flowers, water, and landscapes—all of it fuels my creativity. Nature’s color palette constantly reminds me how beautiful and dramatic art can be, and I bring that energy into every piece I create.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won the $25,000 art competition, I would use it to support my grandchildren’s futures and invest in experiences and opportunities that help them grow, learn, and thrive. I would also give back by supporting causes in my community that help others through difficult times, because I believe blessings are meant to be shared. Winning would allow me not only to uplift my family, but also to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
