As an artist I gravitate towards abstract self-expression utilizing acrylics on canvas. Experimenting with bringing 3d life to a blank canvas. Although it is my favorite medium, creativity is formed everywhere my eyes turn, with every element I encounter. Everything from nature to junk, I am drawn to creating visuals and making something from what some may perceive as nothing. Art in taste and sound are also passions of my creative mind.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspirations find me. It arrives unexpectedly. Boldly. Along my journey, my encounters of things such as colors, patterns, materials and objects can sometimes combine in thought and manifest the art itself. The dopamine is released once the thought becomes reality.
What would you do with $25,000?Earning this amount would significantly change our family's way of life. It will free up our external earnings and help to provide a better foundation for the children. Giving them the freedom to experience what other options this life has to offer. Earning the place as recipient, being featured in Art Forum and the overall exposure of my art is monumental. It would hold just as much value as the financial prize.
