Without art, I don’t feel like me. It helps me meditate & stay calm and isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s my outlet to this thing called life.

I love working with watercolor but I also love working with pen/micron. I do a lot of pen work for a company called 24 peace, that allows me to give back to my community and charities because the company donates a portion of proceeds to charity. I love seeing people wearing my designs and helping out Cindy whenever I can. I love watercolor because I feel like it is a dream. I can escape within the confines of paper and color and focus on my breathing and stay present.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere, but mostly my children. I love animals so I create a lot of animals too. I think I draw from my mind and from my heart, but because I used art as a therapy, I never truly know what the outcome will be until it’s over. But that’s kind of the best part.
What would you do with $25,000?Both my kids are artists. We live in a very small 2 bedroom apartment, where we lived with their dad before we divorced. There are a lot of ill tempered memories here. I’d love to take $25,000 and get a place of our own, where they don’t have to share a room, and an area to create together. A studio that does not also double as a kitchen, so we can create and live and start over, in a space that is truly only ours, where he has never hurt us in.
