I have a special connection to people; therefore, I would say that tattooing is my favorite form of art to create. There are many forms of artistic expression. Tattooing, for me, however, is about accuracy, humility, and individuality. It’s about trust. I am honored to create for people a unique expression of identity. People share their stories with me, and I render those stories for them—story for story, a sacred transaction. More than that, it is a transformation.
