Receive Text UpdatesMy favorite type of art to create is ceramic, specifically wheel thrown. I love the entire process of wedging my clay, coning up and down to perfection, and shaping the clay to my desires. It is my favorite because of the feel of the clay on my hands and how aware it makes me of my body movements.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from japanese ceramicists/pottery and also from natural organic shapes. I love to make my pieces flow and find the balance of shape and proportions that makes me happy with my piece.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put that money to pay for college. I am enrolled in community college at the moment but my goal is to transfer to Northern Arizona University or Cal State Long Beach to continue my studies of ceramics and also hopefully study abroad and gain more experience from other ceramicists.
