Art lets me turn vulnerability, healing, and self-discovery into something beautiful that helps others feel seen.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is mixed media portraiture that blends digitally altered imagery, poetry, symbolism, collage, and sculptural elements. I love creating work that feels intimate, layered, and emotionally honest, pieces that transform personal experiences into something visual, romantic, and powerful. My series The Language of Flowers is a perfect example of that.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in transformation, within myself, my relationships, and the emotional experiences that shape me. I’m inspired by feminine energy, intimacy, sexuality, healing, Renaissance symbolism, flowers, poetry, color, and the hidden meanings we carry. My work is often born from vulnerable conversations and the desire to turn personal truth into something beautiful and freeing.
What would you do with $25,000?I would create an art activation workshop for teens in low-income communities or foster care, showing them that art can be a way out, a voice, and a healing tool. The program would teach creative expression, mixed media, and emotional storytelling, helping teens translate pain, identity, and past experiences into art, giving them confidence, self-awareness, and a safe outlet to be seen.
