My favorite type of art to create is drawing/ sketching and painting, using multiple different types of media. It’s the process of starting with an idea and following through to a final illustration or painting: Runner up would be Creative sculpting, mainly automotive design. Creativity is never limited to one mode or style, that’s the beauty of it, use your ideas and create!
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the world around me, my family, wife, kids, parents, grandparents, friends. I love to ask others for creative criticism during a project, always have to remind them to “not be nice”, many artists are immune to harsh criticism and it is honestly the only way to grow and see issues with your work outside your own head.
What would you do with $25,000?I would get caught up on past bills that we have fallen behind on, spoil the kiddos, take the family on a memorable trip, update my home studio and supplies. Maybe purchase the Wacom tablet I have always wanted but will never spend the money on…. Mainly Family then things I could use to grow and expand in the creative world. Thank you, Jay Steenland
