I create art to share the beauty I see in the world around me. The Love, faith and hope that is embodied in each shape, color and shadow.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Charcoal is my current favorite medium. I focus on portraits of people and animals, bringing the hidden light in each subject to life. Every piece is about revealing something quiet, honest, and often overlooked.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from my faith, the people I love, and the world’s endless palette of shapes and colors. I’m drawn to the quiet beauty hidden in light and shadow—the subtle moments most people pass by. That’s the spark I try to bring forward in my work.
What would you do with $25,000?I would give to my kids (freshly starting college) , my church, the non profit I work with (Love in Action), pay bills and invest in furthering my art career.
