Photography is my main passion, but lately I’ve been creating mixed media artwork using my photos, paintings, & random clippings and putting them into a collage type of artwork on canvas then hi-rez scanning it then printing it out & putting that into a frame. It’s a new medium I’m working on.
Where do you find inspiration?Daily life, as a longtime photo journalist, I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world, and I sound inspiration in all the travels I’ve been from conflict zones to holiday locations. Inspiration is everywhere, you just have to learn how to look and find it.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, I would take 5000 and pay back my family with all the help that they’ve given me over the years as a struggling photographer/artist my choice of life‘s career has not been an easy one. But I can’t do anything else, I’ve tried. With the rest of the money, I would plan out my next gallery show, printing the photographs in different sizes costs money and it adds up quick, and it would afford me the opportunity to continue to create & finally show my work that way I see it.
