I love to create art that evokes feeling and emotion. This is a guiding principle which allows for a great deal of creative freedom and variety. I love when creating art is an act of "serious-FUN". I love when art reveals feelings in myself. I love when art evokes feelings in others, serving as an aide to process the complexity of daily life. Joy, pain, fear, excitement, nostalgia, confusion, bliss, and so many other feelings can be challenging to process. Art eases and enriches the challenge.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in daily life experience. With greater presence and attunement to myself and my surroundings, inspiration blooms. I find inspiration in reflection and digestion of life's experiences. The past impacts the present. The the future feeds ambition. The present is the sweet spot, though, and the more I find myself engaged in HERE and NOW, the more creation flows through my daily efforts.
What would you do with $25,000?The prize money would function as "Seed Money" to enable & empower my focused daily creative efforts and ambitions. Specifically, I'd purchase full scale aluminum prints of digital efforts for proper public sharing. I would purchase a 14 point EEG Scanner and enlist support in developing my "Brainwave Art" project empowering anyone to create simply through experience. I'd purchase a Glowforge and Direct-To-Fabric Printer to create engaging, fun, and desirable social activism items for the masses
