I create art because it’s an open, free, and limitless space where ideas, emotions, and imagination connect through time and transformation.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Painting is my favorite form of art. I like to experiment across different mediums including colored pencil, acrylic, charcoal, ink, watercolor, graffiti, and digital work.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by the relationship between natural forms, the female figure, and architecture. I like to break them apart and bring them together to reflect something eternal within one space, time, and matter. I’m drawn to the power of creation and transformation from an empty canvas, exploring the unknown in order to find beauty.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the resources to expand my work into animation and create a short film. The idea is to bring to life a large female entity that moves through the ocean and eventually reaches the city, interacting with human-made structures. The project would explore the connection and tension between nature and the built environment.
