I transform raw metal and forgotten scrap into meaningful art—giving character, purpose, and new life to what others leave behind.

I create custom metalwork—from gates and garden pieces to large-scale sculptures—using reclaimed steel and salvaged materials. I’m drawn to metal that shows age and wear, because it already holds a story. Through cutting, welding, and shaping, I transform industrial scrap and old equipment into pieces that feel alive again—functional, artistic, and built with intention. I want my work to be something people connect with and live alongside every day.”
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from the materials themselves and the people who experience the work. Rusted steel, worn machinery, and discarded objects all carry a quiet presence that sparks ideas. In my studio, that inspiration grows through conversations with visitors and their reactions—seeing someone connect with a piece or view something ordinary in a new way is what drives me to keep creating.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest in advanced tools and equipment to expand the scale, precision, and creativity of my work. It would allow me to take on larger and more detailed projects—from custom gates to statement sculptures—and explore new techniques. I’d also continue developing my studio as a welcoming space where people can experience the process, connect with the work, and see how reclaimed materials can be transformed into something unexpected.”
