I’ve loved creating since I was a child, but I’ve grown to love creating art because it encapsulates and evokes emotion.

I would say that painting has become my favorite art to create because of how calming it is. Though I also find it to be the most frustrating. It takes a lot of patience but layering the colors on top of each other and finding new techniques to better represent what it is you’re trying to create can be really fun.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by beauty, tragedy and anything that pulls me out of my current headspace and demands that I feel something. I will say that I draw a lot of inspiration from other artists and their stories. Interacting with other creatives reignites this passion in me that tends to get buried sometimes. I also find inspiration in nature and life events. Seeing something beautiful or experiencing something painful helps me break out my sketchbook.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25000 dollars I’d divide it up and put part of the money towards my current goals, and the another part towards helping some of my loved ones establish themselves a bit better and create a sense of stability. Money gives people hope and options. For me, it would mean being able to pay off student loans much quicker, investing more into my passions and taking care of those around me.
