I love art that is bold, loud, and sometimes controversial. I like art that tells the truth and gives people hope. A lot of my art is mixed media, very abstract and a little pop culture meets street art vibes so to say. But all my pieces have a deeper meaning to them that causes you to get close and look deeper. I work with acrylic and paper the most!
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere! But especially outside in nature, how could we not get inspired by our creator and his creation? I also get inspiration from the Bible, from conversations, from observing the world and people around me. I’m inspired to use art to make a difference and give people something to feel seen, heard, and understood by.
What would you do with $25,000?I would do everything I can to become a full time artist and make a difference in this world with my art. Art has an open door to make an impact. It can be hard for people to hear and listen but to look at something on purpose and have to dig in a little deeper in order to understand and connect, that brings us back to our humanity. It pushes us to pause, accept, look inward and outward and it opens up our mind to receive. $25,000 is a lot of money that can help me do a lot of good!
