Making art is a therapeutic way I reduce my stress, anxiety, and the pressures of daily life. It grounds me and lets my mind wander.

While I enjoy many art forms, I am mainly drawn to graphite realism. It allows me to challenge myself to translate the world into a controlled range of tones without the distraction of color. I think of it like visual story telling; every value, every mark, contributes to the mood and emotional impact of the piece. Realism isn't just about copying what I see onto paper, it's understanding how light interacts with surfaces and capturing subtle changes. The journey is more of a reward itself.
Where do you find inspiration? My art switches between highly personal textures of a human fragment and the reality of the skeleton. By drawing both, I’m exploring what makes us individuals, and what makes us exactly the same.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d split $25,000 between stability and upgrades. I’d set aside a significant portion for financial security to ensure I am able to support myself and any emergencies that could arise. The rest would go into my 'technical arsenal'—upgrading to the highest-grade archival materials and a professional graphite drawing/sketching setup. For a realism artist, the quality of your tools dictates the limits of your detail; this would allow me to push those limits further than ever.
