I work with many different medias including: ceramics, photography, writing, painting, sketching, and multimedia art. I have to say my tried and true favorite is writing. I have always felt like it provides me the raw space to fully look myself and the world in the face.
Where do you find inspiration?Truthfully as an artist, I think a huge part of nourishing creativity and autonomy is being able to digest and take time for the world around us, and noticing our role in it. Ultimately, the more we observe, the more we create, and the less we carry. Inspiration exists where you notice. There are no definitives in divinity.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to go back to school. I’ve always thought that we lose touch with our humility in the same breath that we lose our desire to learn. I crave perplexity as it encourages fluidity.
